Nadiia Kovalchuk is a Lviv-based (Ukraine) 2D Animator and Toon Boom Rigger.
She has experience of working with 360° and single-view rigs in Toon Boom, cel and cut-out animation.
Nadiia has developed extensive amount of storyboards, characters, and illustrations for a wide range of projects, including book covers, YouTube videos, marketing content etc.
She has
- 20+ years of experience in digital drawing
- 10 years of freelance work in Design & Creative field on Upwork
- 4 years in the animation industry
- 1 year of experience teaching 2D animation to kids and teenagers instructing around 200 students
She also leads the Urbansketchers Lviv community for sketching enthusiasts.
Nadiia’s passion for animation began around the age of 10, though her journey into the animation industry took a winding path. Before fully focusing on animation, Nadiia spent 5 years in hosting support, which strengthened her technical skills and gave her a strong foundation in client communication and customer service.
