Hello!
I’m a 2D Artist from Kharkiv, Ukraine, currently located in Lviv.
Having a Master’s degree in Computer Science and after years of working for an IT company, I decided to go after my childhood dream and focus on the profession of an artist.
I started my journey as an artist in 2016, at the age of 26.
I tried myself in different artistic areas such as character design, illustration, comic art before I committed myself to my true passion – animation.
Nowadays I work on my animated feature film named “The Butterfly”. I still do storyboarding, animation, character designs, comic art and illustrations as a freelance artist.
10 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME:
- I’m “Mavka: The Forest Song” director’s graduated student.
- I’m a leader of Urbansketchers Lviv community.
- I studied AI when it wasn’t mainstream.
- I have N5 Japanese.
- The animated TV series that influenced me the most is ‘Sailor Moon’ (1992). This anime fueled my interest of animation and Japanese culture.
- Some of my fav animated TV series are: ‘Sailor Moon’ (1992), ‘Dexter’s Laboratory’ (1995), ‘The Powerpuff Girls’ (1998), ‘Samurai Jack’ (2001), ‘The Cuphead Show!’ (2022), ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off’ (2023).
- I’m a bilingual person.
- I used to be left-handed in my deep-deep childhood.
- I’ve been attending a dance ensemble for 9 years. I used to dance Ukrainian folk dances.
- I’ve been working in hosting support as a customer support and then as a technical engineer for 5 years in total.
